Thanks to Lindsay Lohan you can Bet on Who’s Jailed Next

Following Lindsay Lohan’s sentencing and subsequent jailing last week, William Hill have opened a betting market on the next celebrity to be sent to prison.

After Lindsay Lohan was sent to jail, William Hill decided to open a betting market on which celebrity will be the next to be arrested. They have placed  well known drinker Amy Winehouse at 2/1 favourite, with Pete Doherty as second favourite at 7/2. Courtney Love comes in third at 7/1 and George Michael - who recently WHAM-ed his car into a shop and was arrested as a result - is at 9/1.

William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly said,

“There seems to be a spate of celebrities behaving badly at the moment, but thankfully, judges no longer have any qualms about banging up the bad boys and girls. Not only is the reputation of the judicial system profiting from the locking up of these celebrities, but also some of our far sighted punters who backed ‘puffer’ Paris and naughty Naomi to get led away in handcuffs recently.”

Lohan was sent to prison for failing to attend alcohol education classes and has been sentenced to 90 days. It is expected, however, that she will serve less. She was sent to the same prison two years ago for drunk driving and drug possession offences in 2007, however, she only served 84 minutes of her sentence.

The complete set of William Hill odds looks like this: 2/1 Amy Winehouse, 7/2 Peter Doherty, 7/1 Courtney Love, 9/1 George Michael, 10/1 Kerry Katona, 12/1 Naomi Campbell, 12/1 Whitney Houston, 12/1 Jonathan Rhys Meyers, 14/1 Jordan, 16/1 Kate Moss, 16/1 Keith Richards, 20/1 Kiefer Sutherland, 20/1 Russell Crowe, 20/1 Eminem, 20/1 Dizzee Rascal, 25/1 Peaches Geldof, 25/1 Britney Spears, 28/1 Paris Hilton, 33/1 Jay Z, 40/1 Steven Gerrard, Vinnie Jones, Peter Andre, 100/1 Paul McCartney
